Who we are
We are a vision-fueled powerhouse with a heart for purpose and a mind for strategy. Whether we are drafting grant letters before sunrise or branding businesses that uplift creatives and communities, we move with intention. We blend artistry and entrepreneurship like a pro—part coach, part creator, part change-maker—driven to help others rise while building something bold of our own. We are all about legacy, clarity, and getting things done.
We are also led by our faith in Jesus Christ, a deep sense of community, and a commitment to making the world a bit brighter — one inspired life at a time. Our work is rooted in love, purpose, and the belief that everyone deserves a chance to step into their calling. That’s why we believe access to information, guidance, and support should be simple and accessible for anyone starting their journey — whether they’re launching a business, founding a nonprofit, or stepping into their creative identity. No one should have to walk this path alone, and through what we share, we hope to light the way for others to rise, lead, and grow.
Our Founder
Emily Luz is the Founder of Fuel and Inspire, a platform dedicated to uplifting visionaries through creativity, purpose, and practical support. With over 14 years of experience in fundraising and grant writing, Emily is a seasoned professional who has helped countless individuals and organizations bring their missions to life. She is also a trained visual and performing artist with a focus on acrylic painting, photography, singing, and dance.
As a young adult, Emily dreamed of becoming a professional artist. However, counselors told her that art wasn’t a viable career path, that she lacked the experience, and that she didn’t have what it would take to succeed. Undeterred, she chose to rise above those doubts, diving into the worlds of business and nonprofits to forge her own path.
Her diverse career journey has included roles as an Outreach and Development Specialist, Technology Trainer for the Blind and Low Vision, Contract Closeout Specialist for the U.S. Air Force, Grant Writing Consultant, Coach, and Business Specialist. Still, the call to return to her first love — art — never left her.
In 2022, Emily and her husband moved from New England to Jacksonville, Florida. Surrounded by new inspiration, she reignited her passion for creating art and helping others do the same. Today, through Fuel and Inspire, she empowers people to pursue their creative and entrepreneurial journeys — with the support, tools, and community they need to thrive.
